Last May, Trung Tâm Thúy Nga held the taping for Paris By Night 126, “Hành Trình 35 Năm” at the Mystic Lake Casino in Minnesota, in celebration of the company’s 35th anniversary. Earlier this month, the anniversary celebrations continued with Part 2! Paris By Night 127, “Hành Trình 35 Năm, Phần 2” was held on September 8 & 9 at the Pechanga Resort & Casino in California, a very well known venue amongst Vietnamese audiences.

Being it is the company’s 35th anniversary, of course there were a number of grand performances and special guest appearances. Fans were able to see performances from their usual favourites, such as Ngọc Anh who opened the show with “Thư Pháp”, Minh Tuyết who performed “Ngày Em Đi”, Như Quỳnh and her performance of “Hạ Thương” and of course many many more. The show saw the return of Phượng Mai, one of Paris By Night’s singers from its earliest videos decades ago! Phượng Mai, beloved for singing nhạc quê hương and performing the cải lương genre, returned with an excerpt from “Tiếng Trống Mê Linh”. Paris By Night 127 also featured the debut performances from Băng Tâm, who many know previously from Trung Tâm Asia. Băng Tâm gave a solo performance of Trịnh Lâm Ngân’s “Người Tình Và Quê Hương” and also sang a duet on the song “Đêm Tâm Sự” with Đan Nguyên, whom she had also performed many times with while working with Trung Tâm Asia.

This has certainly been a big year for Trung Tâm Thúy Nga, but the celebrations do not stop here. Paris By Night 128, “Hành Trình 35 Năm, Phần 3” will be held later this year at none other than Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas – where some of Paris By Night’s most memorable shows have taken place. Stay tuned for more updates.
