Ngày Nhân Quyền cho Việt Nam tại Quốc hội Canada ( 12 tháng 6 năm 2017)

Je vous remercie mille fois de nous avoir accueillis si chaleureusement lors de la Journée de la promotion des droits de la personne au Vietnam.

Dr. Can Le, un conseiller de CYHRV, m’a dit que vous avez offert de nous aider à organiser d’autres événements semblables dans l’avenir. Nous garderons bien sûr cette offre à l’esprit pour l’année prochaine.

Canadian Youth for Human Rights in Vietnam (CYHRV)

Dear Mr. Bezan:

I would like to thank you, and Mathew Clancy and Ben Silverman of your staff, for all the support that you and they have given us in the organization of the Vietnam Human Rights Advocacy Day on Parliament Hill on Monday, June 12. We also appreciated the fact that you had to leave your meeting temporarily to come to meet with us and to give us your very warm greetings before we departed.

We were very happy to report that despite the very short time that we had in the organization of this event, we were able to get 101 registered participants, 60 supporting organizations — both inside Canada and abroad (including Vietnam) — and 11 MPs who agreed to meet our delegations.

At the de-briefing session of the day, our attendees expressed the desire to make this an annual event with a date to be selected later. As such, we hope that you’ll continue to help us in our struggle for respect of human rights in Vietnam, and, jointly with other organizations, respect for human rights around the world.
