Alex Trebek Sweetly Wishes He’d Met Wife Jean Much Earlier
(Closer Weekly):There isn’t much that Alex Trebek wishes for. He’s had a solid career hosting Jeopardy! for 35 years, he has two wonderful kids and a beautiful wife that he’s been with for almost three decades. “I’m pretty satisfied with my life,” the 78-year-old candidly admitted in a new interview.
But there is one thing he would change if he could turn back time. “My wife Jean and I have been together almost 29 years, and I was thinking about President Bush when he died, and all the comments about his life about what a nice guy he is, and how he and his wife had been together 73 years. I thought, oh my gosh … if I’d just met Jean in my 20s we could have had a longer life together,” Alex told People Opens a New Window. .
