DVD Một Thuở Học Trò
Last year, many fans of Trung Tâm Asia were left saddened when long time music director, Trúc Hồ, and a number of musicians and singers, left the company for a variety of reasons. With many wondering what the future held for these artists, fans will be very happy to know that they will be able to see their beloved singers very soon in a new DVD!
Motif Music Group, co-founded by Trúc Sinh and Quốc Khanh, is a new music production company with the vision bridging the gap between generations of Vietnamese people; presenting Vietnamese music to younger audiences, while preserving its culture and history. Trúc Sinh, as many will remember, was one of Trung Tâm Asia’s primary musical arrangers and musicians from 1994 to 2016, and Quốc Khanh was one of Trung Tâm Asia’s most popular artists, winning the “Giọng Ca Vàng” singing competition in 2006. Together, with the support of SBTN and Trúc Hồ Music Inc., Motif Music Group will be releasing their first DVD by singer Hoàng Thục Linh, titled “Một Thuở Học Trò”.
“Một Thuở Học Trò” will feature a gorgeous set replicating Vietnamese school campuses in Saigon before 1975, and will feature songs about student life, youth, love and loss – songs such as “Làm Thơ Tình Em Đọc” or “Ngày Xưa Hoàng Thị” that will give older generations a sense of nostalgia, and younger audiences a glimpse of what life as a student in Vietnam was like. As mentioned, “Một Thuở Học Trò” will feature performances from singers that have left Trung Tâm Asia, such as Hoàng Thục Linh, Quốc Khanh, Đoàn Phi, Mai Thanh Sơn, Nguyên Khang, and more. For fans of these singers, and fans of the beautiful musical arrangements of Trúc Sinh, Trúc Hồ and other musicans that were once part of Trung Tâm Asia, this upcoming DVD is something that is worth waiting for and purchasing.
