Tết Festival 2018 in Toronto

The Lunar New Year Festival hosted by the Vietnamese Association of Toronto along with the various Vietnamese communities throughout the GTA was held on February 4, 2018 at the International Centre, Mississauga. Representatives of various religious groups, associations, media outlets, and distinguished guests attended this tremendous event. The number of festival goers was estimated to be around 6 000 with close to 200 young enthusiastic volunteers that helped to make this Tet Festival a successful one.
Participants from various Vietnamese groups contributed singing and dancing performances. Festival goers also got to enjoy the different ethnic group performances such as those of the Korean, the Japanese, the Tibet, and the Nepal.
This annual event is considered to be the biggest indoor Tet Festival in North America. It is a wonderful chance to meet up with old friends, celebrate the New Year and showcase the strength of our Vietnamese communities.
