Toronto: On Saturday September 22,2018, hundreds of Vietnamese-Canadians,
mostly families with young children, filled the Oakdale Community Centre in North York to celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival.

The highly anticipated annual free family event is hosted by the Vietnamese Association of Toronto and the Vietnamese Women
Association of Toronto. The fun-filled day included popular activities such as face painting, mooncake tasting, lantern making workshop, lion dance, and ao dai contest for children.

Senator Ngo Thank Hai, Members of Parliament Judy Sgro and Ahmed
Hussen, and City of Toronto Councillor Anthony Perruzza, were among the guests.

The Thu Thao dance group, who has been a strong supporter of this children festival since its inception, was also invited. Their performances were particularly well received by the adorable, energetic young audience.
