CD Đình Bảo: Xin Vâng

Đình Bảo, while originally a member of the Vietnamese group AC&M, has gradually built up a strong fanbase outside of Vietnam after joining Trung Tâm Thúy Nga as a solo singer. Recognized for his strong, wide-ranged vocal abilities and clear tone, he has become one of Trung Tâm Thúy Nga’s “big voices” alongside singers such as Bằng Kiều, Trần Thái Hòa and Thiên Tôn. This year, Đình Bảo brings to audiences his latest release, “Xin Vâng”, which many can guess correctly that this is a Christian album or “Thánh Ca” in Vietnamese. While his last album (also a Christian album), “Đền Tạ Trái Tim Mẹ” focused purely on songs about the Virgin Mary, “Xin Vâng” is much broader and thus covers a wider range of songs and hymns that fans of his last album will also enjoy very much.
“Xin Vâng” includes 10 songs, including “Ánh Sáng Và Bóng Tối”, “Mẹ Sầu Bi”, “Hãy Thắp Sáng Lên”, and of course the title track, “Xin Vâng”. Đình Bảo is able to convey many emotional nuances in his vocals, which soar effortlessly throughout the tracks. It goes without saying that Đình Bảo’s voice is perfectly suited for this genre of music. Fans of Đình Bảo who may not be of any Christian denomination will still be able to appreciate and enjoy his vocal performances in this album.
“Xin Vâng” is currently available in store and online. Be sure to purchase an ORIGINAL copy of his album at your local Vietnamese music store, or online at www.thuyngashop.com.
