Vietnam pavilion was invited to a celebration honouring Carassauga Pavilions, Sponsors and Community Partners on Thursday, July 19, 2018. The banquet was held at Capitol Banquet Centre in Mississauga.
Pham Thu Thuy, chair person of Vietnam Pavilion was presented with an Award of Appreciation for the Inspiration, Motivation, and Dedication to Carassauga at the Gala Dinner. Special guests included Mayor of Mississauga, Bonnie Crombie, Former Mayor of Mississauga, Hazel McCallion, and MP Peter Fonseca among others.
Carassauga was a huge success. The total number of visits recorded for 2018 surpassed last year’s record of 400 000. The Festival has become an important annual event in Mississauga’s calendar, and its popularity has steadily increased in recent years. It is the largest multicultural Festival in Ontario and is now recognized as the 2nd largest cultural Festival in Canada in terms of visits & ethnic diversity representation.
