Carassauga DRIVE-IN Festival of Cultures 2021
This year Carassauga held a live concert which showcased a tremendous lineup of performances from local cultural groups and national recording artists at Paramount Fine Foods Centre in Mississauga. Some featured artists and groups included Coleman Hell, Liberty Silver, St. Royals Band, Fiddlestix, The Dreamboats, Thu Thao Dance Group, The Mexicans Folk Ballet, Colombian Dance Company, Brazilian Dance Migration, Hawaiian Pacific Magic Dance Ensemble, Culture Philipines of Ontario, and Peruvian Canadian Heritage Association.
Five shows were featured over the course of 3 days from August 20 to 22. Various dance and musical performances and food trucks were on site. The cost was only $20 per car and a portion would be donated to Trillium Hospital. Festival goers were encouraged to bring their lawn chairs to sit outside of their vehicle in their designated spot to best enjoy the sights and sounds of CARASSAUGA 2021.

It was a great show given this one of a kind “DRIVE-IN Festival” to showcase and celebrate different cultures with food and entertainment!
