A Beautiful Blush And Gold Wedding In Toronto
Toronto (Weddingbells): Chloe and Tim first met at a hip-hop dance competition at Queen’s University. “We were on the two opposing teams battling in the finals that year,” Chloe explains. “Among all the talented break dancers I couldn’t keep my eyes off Tim—we talked and danced the night away! My team won the championship that year, but everyone says Tim is the real winner for swooping me up that night.”
What drew the couple to their Arcadian Court venue was its modern and minimalist architecture. “The space provided us with ample opportunity to create a warm and intimate space that truly reflected our personalities and tastes,” Chloe says. Through Pinterest, the bride quickly learned she had a love for blush and gold, and this combination worked perfectly to create a romantic mood with an element of glamour and elegance.
“My jaw dropped when entered the reception hall; it was everything I wanted and more,” Chloe says. The designers at The Daycor went above and beyond to make the venue so cozy and romantic with the decor and countless candles.” The reception was full of gorgeous details, including the lace backdrop for the photo booth and the ‘Chloe & Tim’ gold glitter sign behind the head table.
The couple wanted their first dance to be a true reflection of them as a couple. “This made the song selection much easier than anticipated,” Chloe says. “We chose ‘Something Special’ by Usher—we first danced to this song on our second date, so it made perfect sense to relive that moment during our wedding!”
