Of the population — which includes the Chinese, Filipino, Indian, Japanese, Vietnamese and Korean subgroups — Chinese adults scored the best on five measures of health, including health status, multiple chronic conditions, serious psychological distress in the last month and limitations in work or social participation.
Among the various health markers, Vietnamese adults were the most likely to report fair or poor health, serious psychological distress and work limitations, Filipino adults were most likely to report multiple chronic conditions, Japanese adults were most connected with work limitations and Korean adults with social participation limitations.
