Nhat Nguyen produces brilliant comeback to win Irish Open
(RTE): Ireland’s Nhat Nguyen produced a brilliant comeback to beat French opponent Alex Lanier and win the AIG FZ Forza Irish Open.
Nguyen took the gold medal in the men’s singles at the National Indoor Arena on the Sport Ireland Campus.
Having won the first game 21-13, it looked like Nguyen would be pegged back as Lanier raced into an 18-13 lead in the second game.
