Melbourne, Australia (Domain, March 20,2017): A former Glen Waverley real estate agent has indicated he will plead guilty to taking millions of dollars in client money held in trust accounts.
Former LJ Hooker agent Tri Duc (Jospeh) Ngo appeared in court with his co-accused, wife Truc Thanh Le (Judy) Nguyen, on Monday for a committal mention.
His lawyer, Erol Cinar, told the Melbourne Magistrates Court that Mr Ngo was the only one with access to the trust account and he was the one who conducted the offending.
Mr Sinar said that Ms Nguyen, on the other hand, would plead not guilty to all charges.
The couple is accused of dozens of electronic transfers from rental and sales trust accounts into the company JNT Law Investments for its own use.
JNT operated businesses including LJ Hooker branches in Keysborough, Mount Waverley, Glen Waverley, Burwood, Doncaster and Box Hill.
