Trung Tâm Asia is preparing to release their latest show this month! Asia 80, “The Celebrations – Làn Gió Mới” was filmed last September at Caesars Atlantic City in New Jersey. Touted as Trung Tâm Asia’s biggest show of the year, Asia 80 is a show that sets out to prove to audiences that Asia continues to move forward after a year of major changes within the company. As the theme states, this show celebrates the legacy that Trung Tâm Asia has brought forth after nearly 40 years in the industry. The second part of the theme “Làn Gió Mới” marks a new beginning; with Asia 80, Trung Tâm Asia hopes to create a new chapter in their legacy, bringing back the old while introducing new ideas and concepts to audiences. With over 60 singers, musicians and dancers, and over 3000 people in attendance, Asia 80 is truly a labour of love that hopes to reassure fans that the company is still as strong as ever.
Asia 80 will feature performances from many familiar faces, such as Ngọc Anh Vi, Diễm Liên, Y Phương, Thanh Thúy, Hoàng Oanh, Đặng Thế Luân, Thanh Trúc and Cardin. Unfortunately, Lâm Thúy Vân, Lâm Nhật Tiến and Khánh Hà, who were originally announced to be part of the show, were unable to attend at the last minute. Fortunately, audiences were happy to see the return of singers such as Loan Châu and Thùy Hương, and surprise performances from singers were originally not announced to be part of the show, including Hồ Hoàng Yến who performed a new song by Asia’s former producer, Trúc Hồ.

Asia 80 will be released onto DVD on November 11. Be sure to purchase an ORIGINAL copy at your local Vietnamese music store, or visit www.asiaeshop.com to order online!
